Crocodile Bay Resort, Costa Rica is a four-star destination that includes sustainable ecotourism, fishing, a conference center, and a newly constructed 5000 square foot luxury spa. Crocodile Bay is located in Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica a small village on the Osa Peninsula of the southern Pacific shores of Costa Rica.

The resort is situated on 44 acres of tropical gardens that border the complex mix of shallow and deep waters known as the Golfo Dulce or “Sweet Gulf” (Learn more about the area) . Costa Rica WildlifeObserve a startling array of rainforest creatures, including 400 species of amphibians and reptiles, 878 species of birds, and 228 species of mammals. Our fleet of boats (Boston Whaler Outrages and Strike Boats), docked at our 880 foot pier, give access to remote snorkeling and surfing spots, botanical gardens, wildlife refuge, as well as general sight-seeing explorations of these pristine waters. Fishing enthusiasts can seek the thrill of catching marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, dorado, roosterfish and red snapper, among others.


The Spa at Crocodile Bay Resort hosted a grand opening in January, 2006. This new facility is equipped with a full-sized kitchen that can accommodate large parties and receptions. The menu of treatments is comparable to the best spa resorts in North America.


The Relaxation Room at the Spa

The dining room and bar, gift shop, spa, pool and conference center (comfortably seating 80 people) are within a short walk of each other. Each of the 43 air-conditioned guest rooms has two comfortable queen-sized beds and a deck that overlooks the surrounding gardens. The dining room serves local and international favorites including fresh-caught yellow fin tuna (Sashimi and Sushi Rolls*), mahi-mahi and a variety vegetarian choices. All packages are all-inclusvie including full service breakfast (pictured right), lunch and dinner. The bar is open all day and the pool features a swim-up bar and elevated hot tub.

Our Rooms
Our rooms combine the rustic feel of a nature lodge with the comfort of a four star resort. Crocodile Bay offers three room styles, as well as 6 on-property rental houses that accommodate groups of 5 to 10 people. Room amenities include two queen size beds, Jacuzzi (suites only), personal safe, water cooler, coffee maker, iron with ironing board, hair dryer, closet with hangers, and observation deck.
